Effects of strength training on ankle injuries in soccer players: a systematic review

Purpose: The purpose of this systematic review was (I) to determine the quality evidence from studies evaluating effects strength training on incidence ankle injuries in soccer and (II) effectiveness soccer. Methods: Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews (PRISMA) statements were considered using keywords associated with injuries, training, following four databases used: PubMed, Web Science, Scopus, SPORTDiscus. articles included assessed PEDro scale.
